- Developing Quality Competence in Medical Laboratories (DQCML) closed in December 2020:
As of January 2021 a new Task Force on Global Laboratory Quality (TF-GLQ) was established by the IFCC Executive Board to reprioritize and strengthen IFCC’s activities towards improving laboratory quality and in particular IQC and EQA for developing countries. The process involved a call for nominations for membership including the transition of the chair of the DQCML onto this new task force.
With the creation of TF-GLQ, the DQCML was no longer required as the remit of this new task force encompasses the majority of the work undertaken by these special project.
