The aims of the Thyroglobulin Measurement presentation are to recognize the strengths and limitations of the different thyroglobulin (Tg) methodologies used to monitor patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) and to recognize the strengths and limitations of current Tg autoantibody (TgAb) methods. The importance of monitoring TgAb in addition to Tg, and the recognition that optimal DTC monitoring strategies depend on whether TgAb is present in the specimen, are also main messages of Prof. Spencer's webinar.
